	Philosophy Our goal at Kernan Funeral Service is to meet your needs at a reasonable cost. We would like to work with you in planning a funeral that has meaning for you and your family. We have seen a change in how people choose arrangements. It wasn't too many years ago that a funeral typically took four or five days from the time of death to the burial. Today, many people are selecting shorter visitation periods, (in some cases just an hour or two or not at all) and are more creative in the type of service that will have meaning for them. Also, cremation is an option being selected by an increasing number of families. Out of these thoughts the Kernan philosophy is born: To work with you in planning a funeral that has meaning for you and your family at a reasonable cost.
